The Adventurer’s Club is a dining Club celebrating the rich heritage and culinary delights of the Fens. Founded to support local businesses, the club offers a taste of Fenland’s past and present while supporting local Conservative Candidates.
The name is Inspired by the 17th-century Adventurers investors led by the 4th Earl of Bedford who, in 1630, backed Cornelius Vermuyden’s drainage of the Fens - the club honours the region’s journey from marsh to fertile farmland.
Bi-monthly, members gather to dine at restaurants across the Fens area. And once a year, the Adventurers Club hosts an exclusive event in London, echoing the historical gatherings of the original Adventurers. Held at a distinguished venue, featuring guest speakers and networking opportunities. The London event bridges the Fenland’s rural roots with its broader impact, celebrating its role in feeding the nation.
Members enjoy key benefits: meeting high-level politicians at the yearly London event, receiving personal letters with Westminster updates, discounts and VIP seating at other NECCA events, supporting local businesses during challenging times, and the satisfaction of contributing to victories in target seats.
Join us to Savour Fenland’s Flavours, connect with its history, and support Conservatism in the Fens.
Membership costs £25 per month, paid monthly by Direct debit, covering the dinners and the annual London event.
